workin on the mountain

Living in Cascadia at the moment. Much of my nights are spent at Camp Muir, the second picture below. These pictures were from my first summit climb trip, and we were above the sea of altostratus clouds known locally as the "Marine Layer". The sunise is from the top of Dissappointment Cleaver, the steepest section of the standard route.
The third photo is from Camp Muir, a long exposure at night. You can see the movement of the sea of clouds, as well as Mt. Adams on left and Mt. Hood in the center right. Cascadia.
The fourth photo is from Columbia Crest, the highpoint of the mountain, looking down at the crater and the world.
