Dieciocho en Chile

It's been quite a while since I last posted, so here's an attempt to get up and going again...
Since the last post lots has happened, mainly, facebook has taken over as an online photo gallery.

At the moment I find myself working for a gold mine in the central Andes of Chile, avalanche forecasting and control. This affords some good unreal skiing when the window is open. But today, I sit and digest copious amounts of meat. Beginning to wind down the season and working on our end of the season report. We now have a whole 3 years of data in digital form, so I can make cool graphs like this. The past two years I've been here, both below average snowfall seasons. Hey, we still had a few huge avalanches and some excellent skiing!
